Our Big Trip To IrelandSeptember 2007 |
These are some quick shots from the trip to get us started
New Irish FriendsOn the last night of our trip, we met the best examples of Irish hospitality. Three young Limerick gals (only two are pictured here, the other had to leave due to her puppy getting nervous) gave us all the answers to all our silly American questions.Ciara & Allison are pictured here with Windi If you girls visit our site, go to our guest book and let us know what the name of the other girl is - and leave your e-mail addresses so we can thank you proper!
Without a doubt, this was the best night of our visit. The rooms are oppulent and plush and the staff was as marvelous as they come. We thank you folks for making our stay truly memorable.
Chris is only 16, but he was every bit as adept at the art of Irish bartending as any pro we met on our travels and one of the most friendly bartenders t'boot. Sorry, Chris, that Mr. Robert Duley made it into the photo as well... (please note the 'McDonalds' red and gold tie obviously left over from his stint as a fast food manager) Mr. Duley was a real stick-in-the-mud, always interupting Chris and Michael with his 'do this' and 'do that' orders - taking them away from our wonderful conversations. |

You're one of the good ones, sir.
EnniskerryEnniskerry is a Small Town 45 minutes outside of Dublin by city bus.The countryside was absolutely breathtaking. Our afternoon here was definately a high point of our trip. |
